on Luanda International Fair (FILDA)

39th Luanda International Fair Draws Over 1300 Companies from 18 Nations

From July 23 to 28, the 39th Luanda International Fair (FILDA) takes place in Luanda's Special Economic Zone, emphasizing internationalization. Angola aims to attract global markets and investors by showcasing its strategic infrastructure, including the Lobito Corridor and Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport. The event sees the participation of 1300 companies from 18 countries.

Registration remains open for international investors to join the fair. At least 1300 Angolan companies and 254 from other countries will explore the national market across 30 sectors. The theme "Food Security and International Partnership" highlights agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and marine resources.

The fair hosts the "Angola - Portugal" business forum with Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro. The Industrial Association of Angola and the Portuguese Business Confederation will sign a memorandum. Conferences on commercial activity licensing and tourism are also scheduled.

The presence of private sector companies and public institutions allows investors to find partnerships and learn about Angola's strategic plans and regulations. With new infrastructure, such as the Lobito Corridor and Luanda's new airport, Angola aims to strengthen its logistics and global trade position.

Bruno Albernaz, Chairman of Grupo Arena, emphasizes FILDA as a key international business exchange. The fair presents Angola's real potential and opportunities, fostering partnerships and new investments.
