4me® Acquires StatusCast, Adding Incident Management to ITSM Platform
4me®, the SaaS-based Service Management software platform, announced the acquisition of StatusCast™, a cloud-based provider of incident management products. This integration aims to enhance 4me's capabilities by providing real-time service status updates for IT teams, service providers, and customers.
Kevin McGibben, CEO of 4me, stated that integrating StatusCast's incident management capabilities with 4me's core IT Service Management functionalities will strengthen their platform. Eric Warth, VP of Operations at StatusCast, highlighted the complementary nature of the two companies' missions to automate status and incident communications.
StatusCast features, such as public and private status pages and configurable notifications, will now be part of the 4me portfolio. These additions enable IT organizations to offer real-time service status notifications, improving the mean time to resolution for outages and service degradations. Managed service providers and support teams can also utilize these tools to enhance incident management and service level agreement management.
