BOCA RATON, FL / ACCESSWIRE / June 27, 2024 / U.S. Polo Assn., in partnership with 4ocean, has successfully removed over 215,000 pounds of trash from the world's waters through the 4ocean Pound+ Services program. This achievement surpasses their initial pledge of 200,000 pounds of waste.

The partnership, starting in 2021, focused on 74 cleanup locations worldwide, with significant efforts in Bali, Indonesia, and Guatemala. Alex Schulze, Co-Founder of 4ocean, highlighted U.S. Polo Assn.'s critical role in these efforts.

This collaboration is part of U.S. Polo Assn.'s USPA Life initiative, targeting global sustainability. The initiative includes the annual Beach Cleanup in Palm Beach County and offers sustainable apparel and accessories.

The partnership also featured 4ocean as the Official Sustainability Partner of the U.S. Open Polo Championship®, with cleanup efforts during the event and awareness raised through commercial spots on ESPN.
