55 North Mining's 2026 Drilling Initiative May Launch by Late 2025
Toronto-based 55 North Mining Inc. has announced plans for its 2026 drilling program, potentially starting in late 2025 if weather conditions permit safe operations. This strategy targets step-out drilling to the south of current operational zones with the aim to expand the known mineralization footprint.
The program is set to include eight fences with two drill holes spaced approximately 120 meters apart. The anticipated pace is six to eight holes monthly, concluding by late March 2026. The projected all-in cost is estimated at $250 per meter.
CEO Bruce Reid emphasizes the program's goal to explore new grounds south of established zones, which is critical for understanding the mineralized system and guiding future development. Early winter conditions may allow drilling to begin by year-end for optimal operational efficiency.
