A2Z Cust2Mate Launches Its Smart Carts at Franprix in Paris
A2Z Smart Technologies Corp. has introduced its latest Cust2Mate 3.0 smart shopping carts at Franprix stores in Paris. Franprix operates over 600 stores across France, making it a prominent grocery chain in the country.
The deployment follows a framework agreement with IR2S to roll out 30,000 smart carts by 2026. These innovative carts feature advanced AI technology, self-scanning, and in-cart payments, providing a seamless "pick and go" shopping experience. Customers in Paris experienced the new technology during a public launch yesterday.
Franprix store manager Tahar Ben Abdlkader noted positive feedback from customers eager to enhance their shopping experience. Marc Dahan, CEO of IR2S, highlighted the retail innovation represented by Cust2Mate’s smart carts.
The market for smart shopping carts is expected to grow significantly, reaching USD 9.74 billion by 2030. This strategic collaboration strengthens Cust2Mate's market position and aims to revolutionize retail by improving shopper satisfaction and store operations.
