Abrdn U.S. Closed-End Funds Announce Distribution Details

Philadelphia, PA - On November 11, 2024, abrdn U.S. Closed-End Funds disclosed the upcoming distribution payments for its various funds. Distributions will be made on a per-share basis to shareholders of record as of November 21, 2024, with payments scheduled for November 29, 2024. Exceptions include certain funds like abrdn Healthcare Investors (HQH) and others, which will distribute payments on January 10, 2025.

The distribution amounts vary per fund, ranging from $0.0400 for the abrdn Global Premier Properties Fund (AWP) to $0.9300 for The India Fund, Inc. (IFN), which includes an additional capital gains distribution. The latter distribution highlights the funds' reliance on realized capital gains to complement regular income distributions.

The funds also announced the option for shareholders to receive distribution payments in cash or newly issued shares, with a requirement to notify by December 16, 2024, if opting for cash.
