PHILADELPHIA, PA - abrdn Healthcare Investors (HQH), abrdn Life Sciences Investors (HQL), abrdn Healthcare Opportunities Fund (THQ), and abrdn World Healthcare Fund (THW) each announced the appointment of Dr. Jason Akus as co-lead portfolio manager alongside Dr. Daniel Omstead. With over 20 years of experience working together, Dr. Akus will contribute to the management of the funds, continuing their pursuit of existing investment objectives and strategies.
Following a strategic transaction completed on October 27, 2023, which transferred advisory agreements to abrdn from Tekla Capital Management (TCM), this move ensures a smooth transition of responsibilities.
