Abu Dhabi Film Commission Highlights Collaborative Success in Major Hollywood Production
The Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC) recently released a behind-the-scenes video of Lionsgate’s movie, "Now You See Me: Now You Don’t," filmed in Abu Dhabi. This marks another major Hollywood production successfully completed in the UAE capital, showcasing the local capabilities to support global film projects. The film generated over $80.5 million in its opening weekend globally.
The video illustrates the effective collaboration between the ADFC, Creative Media Authority, and other local partners like Epic Films. A crew of over 450 professionals, featuring 290 international members and 170 local freelancers, worked on the project, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s growing talent pool in the creative sector.
The production benefited from ADFC's 35% cashback rebate and streamlined support. The collaboration highlights Abu Dhabi's appeal as an international film hub and its contributions to the global cinematic landscape.
