Aclara Resources Inc. Contributes to Reforestation in Chile with Over 8,000 Tree Donations

Aclara Resources Inc., a development-stage company, has announced its commitment to native forest preservation in Chile's Biobio region through a new reforestation initiative. This program involves distributing 8,000 naranjillo trees, along with other native species, to support reforestation efforts affected by recent forest fires. Specifically, the Viña del Mar Botanical Garden will receive initial donations, including 2,000 naranjillo trees, to assist in recovering from the damage inflicted upon over 380 hectares of native forests.

The initiative follows an unexpected challenge last July when Aclara's EIA application was requested to be terminated by a state agency due to the discovery of six naranjillo trees on the project site. Aclara's CEO, Ramon Barua, sees this as an opportunity to demonstrate the company's commitment to environmental stewardship and community collaboration, aiming to reintroduce native species across impacted areas.

Aclara's program not only focuses on tree donations but also includes training for social and regional organizations on the maintenance of indigenous species, alongside two years of follow-up support. This approach emphasizes collective environmental responsibility and aims to foster a deeper connection between reforestation efforts and community engagement.
