ACT Expands Norman Call Center Facility, Solidifying Position as Area's Largest Employer
Advanced Call Center Technologies, LLC (ACT) has announced a strategic expansion in Norman, Oklahoma, adding 800 new positions. This move solidifies ACT’s role as the city’s largest private employer. The Norman Economic Development Coalition estimates a $350 million boost to the community.
Located at 2701 Technology Place, ACT's facility will grow from its current 1,500 employees. Governor J. Kevin Stitt praised the expansion, noting it aligns with his vision to enhance business in Oklahoma. Lawrence McKinney of the Norman Economic Development Coalition highlighted the creation of additional indirect jobs.
CEO Hunter Croft attributed the expansion to employee ownership and local work ethic. COO Susan Parker emphasized the benefits of their unique ownership structure, promoting collaboration and commitment among employees. Mayor Larry Heikkila encouraged local graduates to join ACT.
ACT’s expansion underscores its commitment to economic growth and job creation. The company aims to further its impact in the community and the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector.
