Ad pepper media International N.V. Reports Q2 Results; Significant EBITDA Improvement
Ad pepper media International N.V., a leader in performance marketing in Europe, announced its preliminary second-quarter results. Gross sales amounted to EUR 20,403k, a slight decrease from EUR 20,967k in Q2 2023. Group revenue saw a minor dip of 3.2% year-on-year to EUR 5,224k. The Webgains segment experienced a 4.5% drop in revenue to EUR 2,791k, and the ad agents segment fell by 3.2% to EUR 1,807k. Conversely, ad pepper segment revenue increased to EUR 626k.
Group EBITDA significantly improved to EUR 487k, up from EUR -118k in Q2 2023. This improvement was driven primarily by Webgains, which generated an EBITDA of EUR 433k compared to EUR 288k the previous year. The ad agents segment also showed improvement with EUR 262k in EBITDA, while ad pepper recorded EUR 86k.
For the first half of 2024, the group reported gross sales of EUR 41,176k and a group revenue of EUR 10,400k. Group EBITDA rose to EUR 707k from EUR -446k in H1 2023. Webgains contributed EUR 1,064k to this figure, ad agents EUR 454k, and ad pepper EUR 73k. The company anticipates continued growth in the second half of the year, particularly in the Webgains segment.
