Advanced Metallurgical Test Work to Commence at Akie
ZincX Resources Corp. ("ZincX") and Teck Resources Limited ("Teck") have announced an agreement for advanced metallurgical test work on the Cardiac Creek deposit at the Akie project in northeastern British Columbia. Teck's metallurgical team has mobilized to the Akie camp to select drill core samples for testing, which will occur either at Teck’s facility in Trail, BC, or a third-party location. Teck will solely bear the cost of this testing, which is expected to conclude by November 30, 2024.
ZincX grants Teck access to metallurgical data to enhance their understanding of Cardiac Creek metallurgy. Test completion is projected to take up to 12 weeks, with an additional four weeks for a technical report on the findings. ZincX's President and CEO, Peeyush Varshney, expressed optimism about the collaboration and its potential to advance the project.
