Advanz Pharma and iQone strengthen access to biosimilars in Switzerland

Advanz Pharma and iQone Healthcare Switzerland have signed a strategic partnership to distribute an Advanz biosimilar in Switzerland. This collaboration aims to enhance the product offering in rheumatology and immunology, and to develop the Swiss biosimilar market. Advanz Pharma, a global player in biosimilars and specialty treatments, is partnering with iQone, part of the Celltrion group, to combine growth with local expertise.

This partnership strengthens the introduction of new biosimilars to the Swiss market, facilitating access to biological therapies. By 2024, 36.4% of the Swiss market eligible for biosimilars had been replaced by these products. The estimated savings resulting from the promotion of biosimilars amount to 50 million Swiss francs.

Both companies aim for improved access to biosimilars, supporting a sustainable healthcare system.
