AEG celebrates Black History Month by celebrating culture and diversity
On February 7, 2024, in celebration of Black History Month, AEG hosted “The Business of Culture” presentation hosted by Dr. Marcus Collins, a recognized specialist in marketing and cultural translation. This initiative aimed to enrich employees' understanding of the impact of culture in the workplace and beyond. This session was organized by the Black Equity@AEG entity as well as the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Employee Engagement teams.
The event explored the role that cultural dynamics play on human behavior, providing the audience with keys to building deeper and more meaningful relationships with their audiences. Dr. Collins shared various examples and experiences illustrating how culture influences individuals' beliefs and actions.
Dr. Marcus Collins has been praised for his ability to drive significant cultural impact through sports and music, with his expertise helping to guide brand strategies for various companies. Additionally, AEG's ongoing commitment to racial justice and inclusion within the company was highlighted through various initiatives throughout the month.
