AELF Acquires 737-800 From Airborne Capital
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance, Inc. (AELF), based in Chicago, has acquired a Boeing 737-8AL, serial number 36548, from Airborne Capital Limited. This move aligns with AELF's strategic goal to expand its 737-800 fleet.
"This aircraft fits perfectly into our strategy," said Joe Cirillo, AELF's Head of Global Marketing. Airborne Capital was praised for their role in the transaction.
AELF recently secured a $40 million credit facility aimed at fleet growth, specifically targeting 737-800 acquisitions. One aircraft has been leased to Air North, a Canadian airline.
Eugene Lui, Founding Partner of Airborne Capital, congratulated AELF on the acquisition and commended their flexibility and creative solutions in finalizing the deal.
