AELF Secures 737 Financing with Nedbank
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance, Inc. (AELF) announced it has finalized the financing of a 737-800 aircraft with South Africa's Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking (Nedbank CIB). This transaction represents AELF's first with the South African lender, aiding their ongoing 737-800 acquisition strategy.
Joe Cirillo, AELF's Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the addition of Nedbank CIB to their network of aviation financiers. AELF has been active in South Africa, completing transactions like 737 deliveries to FlySafair and a deal with Investec earlier this year.
Nedbank CIB, a division of one of South Africa's largest banks, specializes in aviation finance. James Geldenhuys, head of Aircraft Finance, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with AELF, reinforcing their support of the aviation sector through customized financial solutions.
