Aeonian Resources Expands Koocanusa Copper Project with New Acquisitions

Aeonian Resources Ltd. has announced the expansion of its Koocanusa Copper Project in British Columbia. Following a recent geophysical survey revealing high-priority magnetic anomalies, the company acquired two new mineral tenures. These additions extend the project's coverage along the 50 km copper corridor, enhancing the company's exploration capabilities.

The new claims bolster Aeonian's position in the Purcell Basin by covering key magnetic anomalies and structural corridors. The expansion adds 6.7 km of strike length, targeting fold-hosted copper traps in the Gilnockie Fold and Jake Anticline. These areas align with anomalies that match copper-bearing horizons of the Creston Formation.

Aeonian's 2026 exploration program will incorporate the newly acquired land, focusing on geophysics, surface mapping, and drill targeting. The expansion supports Aeonian's strategy for discovery in this under-explored copper system, with plans for detailed follow-up activities.
