AgHires Survey Reveals Trends in Agricultural Job Seeker Preferences
LAMBERTVILLE, MI - AgHires, a prominent recruitment and job advertising firm in agriculture, food production, and horticulture industries, recently released findings from its Job Seeker Survey. The survey, participated in by over 700 agricultural professionals, aimed to provide insights for improving hiring strategies.
The report highlights several key trends. A significant 70% of respondents were more inclined to apply for jobs that list salary details in the description, though salary did not feature among the top five considerations for accepting job offers. Additionally, 94% indicated they would consider new job opportunities if approached by recruiters or companies currently.
Another notable frustration for job seekers is the lack of communication from employers post-application, with 41% citing it as a primary concern. Lori Culler, AgHires’ founder, emphasized the importance for employers to adapt their hiring processes to align with these insights to secure top talent in a competitive market.
