AGRANA Adopts New Strategy to Save Up to €100 Million Annually

AGRANA Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft has announced a strategic initiative aimed at saving between €80 million and €100 million annually. This decision was approved by the Supervisory Board as part of the NEXT LEVEL Group strategy.

The strategy was initially presented at the Annual General Meeting on 5th July 2024. It involves a reorganisation into a streamlined strategic holding company and enhanced cross-segment collaboration through two new business units: “Agricultural Commodities & Specialities” and “Food & Beverage Solutions”. These units aim to consolidate competencies and leverage synergies for greater efficiency and innovation.

With full implementation expected by the 2027|28 financial year, the strategy forecasts cumulative savings of €160 million by then. Immediate effects are anticipated, with 5% savings expected in the current 2024|25 financial year.
