AGRANA and INGREDION Plan Joint Venture in Romania
AGRANA Stärke GmbH, a subsidiary of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG, has initiated a joint venture with INGREDION Germany GmbH to enhance starch production in Romania. Under this agreement, pending regulatory approvals, INGREDION will acquire a 49% stake in S.C. AGFD Țăndărei s.r.l. from AGRANA. This partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both companies in starch production, aligning with AGRANA’s 'Next Level' strategy to bolster its commodity and specialty sectors.
