AGRANA Set to Acquire Flavour Producer esarom

AGRANA Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft, based in Vienna, plans to acquire esarom gmbh and esarom holding gmbh. AGRANA aims to purchase 100% of both companies, which are located in Oberrohrbach, Austria. Key board-level approvals have been obtained, and contract signing is imminent.

esarom is known for developing flavors, bases, powders, and emulsions for the food and beverage industry. It operates two production sites in Austria, employs nearly 400 people, and reported €112 million in revenues for 2025. The acquisition aligns with AGRANA's strategy to grow in the Food & Beverage Solutions sector.

AGRANA plans to finalize the transaction at the start of its 2027|28 financial year. The enterprise value is set at approximately €150 million, based on an EBITDA multiple of 9.0x. The deal is funded through AGRANA's existing liquidity and credit lines.
