AGRANA Unveils Innovative Ice Cream and Vegan Street Food at IFT FIRST Expo in Chicago

AGRANA, a prominent Austrian food and industrial group, showcased new offerings from its fruit preparation and starch product lines at the IFT FIRST Expo in Chicago this week. The global market leader in fruit preparations transformed its stand into a mini street food festival, inviting visitors on a culinary journey.

AGRANA introduced unique ice cream flavors inspired by global cuisines, including Vietnamese Coffee affogato and London Fog, an Earl Grey tea ice cream with a lavender swirl. As the American ice cream market is set to grow to USD 21.9 billion by 2026, AGRANA eyes further growth opportunities in the U.S. where it operates four fruit processing sites.

The expanding vegan food market, projected to double to USD 60.6 billion by 2026, also presents opportunities. AGRANA's subsidiary, Marroquin Organic International Inc., offers organic starches used in vegan meat substitutes and other products. Chef Mike Kubalewski demonstrated vegan organic dishes at the event, attracting considerable interest.

AGRANA CEO Stephan Büttner highlighted the successful presentation of their innovative products and emphasized the importance of sustainability trends in the food industry.
