Agripower finalizes its participation in the Greenfield project

Agripower France has finalized its acquisition of a 49% stake in the "Greenfield" project located in the Sarthe region. This project, initially announced on September 15, involves the construction of a new methanization unit dedicated to the injection of biomethane.

The site will use energy crops to feed the unit, which will have an initial capacity of 136 Nm³/h, expandable to 200 Nm³/h. The total investment for this first phase is €5.4 million, of which €3.3 million is for construction work.

With the necessary permits in place, construction is scheduled to begin in November 2025, with commissioning expected by the end of 2026. Biomethane aggregation will be carried out via the GRT Gaz network under a power purchase agreement. Agripower has also committed to maintaining a shareholder current account of up to €2.5 million for this project.
