AI Learning: A Priority for 12 Million UK Residents in 2025

In a new consumer research study by Tech Show London, it was revealed that over 12 million people in the UK intend to learn about AI as their New Year's resolution for 2025. This highlights a significant shift towards engaging with a technology that is progressively shaping business and personal lives.

Interestingly, 30% of those currently disengaged with AI fear falling behind professionally or academically unless they start learning by 2025, a concern more prevalent among younger adults aged 25-34. Furthermore, 46% believe AI will fundamentally change our relationship with technology.

The study also found a generational divide, as only 15% of those over 55 reported increased use of AI in the past year. Meanwhile, AI's role in cyber security is set to expand, underscoring the need for robust defences against potential AI-driven threats.
