Air Liquide Signs Long-Term Gas Supply Agreement with VSMC

Air Liquide has entered a long-term agreement with VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC) to supply industrial gases in Singapore. Through an investment of approximately 70 million euros, Air Liquide will construct and operate a new gas production facility. This facility will produce ultra-high purity nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and other gases to support VSMC, a joint venture between Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation and NXP Semiconductors.

Located at Tampines Wafer Fab Park, the plant aims to enhance Singapore’s semiconductor industry. The strategic location is expected to strengthen Singapore's position as a global semiconductor hub, given the industry's significant contribution to the nation's manufacturing output. Air Liquide's investment demonstrates its commitment to supporting industrial growth and meeting the rising demand for energy-efficient semiconductor chips.
