Air Liquide to Acquire DIG Airgas in South Korea
Air Liquide has signed a binding agreement to acquire DIG Airgas, a key integrated gas company in South Korea, valued at 2.85 billion euros. The transaction is set to close in the first half of 2026. This acquisition aims to enhance Air Liquide's market presence in South Korea, the 6th largest manufacturing power and a leader in innovation spending.
CEO François Jackow highlighted the strategic advantage, citing Korea's role in semiconductors, clean energy, and mobility. DIG Airgas brings a diverse business portfolio with over 550 employees, 60 plants, and a strong pipeline network in major industrial zones.
