AirBox Launches First High-Volume Air Purifiers for Commercial Use
AUSTIN, TX / ACCESSWIRE / September 9, 2024 / AirBox, an innovator in air purification technology, has started shipping its new integrated total-building High-Volume Purifiers (HVPs). This move marks a significant step in energy savings aligned with the ASHRAE Standard 62.1, allowing clients to reduce up to 90% of outdoor air intake and achieve an ROI in less than three years.
Originally designed to meet ASHRAE Standard 241 for controlling infectious aerosols, the HVPs also adapt to other ventilation systems for broader air quality management. These units suit large industrial and commercial spaces such as schools, manufacturing facilities, and arenas, meeting the requirements of upcoming standards like ASHRAE Standard 44P.
Equipped with Advanced Molecular Adsorbent and Certified HEPA filtration, the purifiers capture harmful contaminants, including VOCs and allergens. An integrated AirBox Advanced Operating System (AOS) allows remote monitoring and maintenance, making it efficient in handling air quality concerns.
Adam Smith, President of AirBox, emphasized the importance of innovative ventilation solutions in the post-COVID era, stating that their products address both energy savings and upgraded air quality standards. As air quality awareness grows, AirBox aims to stay ahead of regulatory changes, ensuring safety and innovation in commercial facilities.
