Airbus Reports Share Buyback Transactions for September 9-13, 2024
On September 16, 2024, Airbus SE disclosed details of its share buyback activities conducted between September 9 and 13, 2024. The buyback programme aims to support future employee share ownership and equity-based compensation plans.
The programme follows the authority granted by Airbus shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on April 10, 2024, permitting the repurchase of up to 10% of its issued share capital. During the specified period, Airbus repurchased a total of 398,686 shares for a total consideration of €51,902,389.82.
Transactions were executed on XPAR market with the following daily volumes and average prices: September 9 - 81,412 shares at €129.4306, September 10 - 79,224 shares at €130.4988, September 11 - 79,117 shares at €130.3996, September 12 - 79,345 shares at €130.3748, and September 13 - 79,588 shares at €130.2349.
