Allianz SE Revises Dividend Policy with New Capital Management Framework
Allianz SE announced an amendment to its Dividend Policy, transforming it into a broader Capital Management Policy. This change hinges on the company's net income and the necessity for adequate capitalization. The regular dividend payout will remain at 60% of Allianz Group Net Income, adjusted for extraordinary items such as market movements and interest expenses.
Allianz aims to maintain an attractive payout policy by ensuring a dividend per share at least equal to the previous year. Additionally, from 2025 to 2027, Allianz plans to return an average minimum of 15% of net income to shareholders, possibly through share buybacks.
The new policy reflects the current intentions of the management boards, subject to the absence of significant earnings or capital events. The policy considers various financial factors, including market conditions and economic environment, and may extend beyond the 15% minimum payout if conditions warrant.
