Allied Universal CEO Steve Jones Raises $2.7 Million for Human Trafficking Victims
IRVINE, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 3, 2024 / Allied Universal®, a leader in security and facility services, announced that CEO Steve Jones and wife Stacy Jones raised approximately $2.7 million for Vera's Sanctuary at their annual August fundraiser. Vera's Sanctuary offers licensed drug treatment services for human trafficking victims aged 15 to 26.
This year's event saw over 650 guests and nearly 100 sponsors. Music legends Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo headlined, supported by the Orange County School of the Arts choir. The fundraiser set a new record, surpassing the $1.9 million raised in 2023.
Vera's Sanctuary provides therapeutic services, food, medical care, and various support programs with no maximum stay duration. Since 2018, it has rehabilitated over 600 women.
