Alta Copper Files NI 43–101 Technical Report

(TSX:ATCU)(OTCQX:ATCUF)(BVL:ATCU) announced the filing of the "Cañariaco Copper Project NI 43-101 Technical Report & Preliminary Economic Assessment". This report, available on SEDAR+ and the company's website, covers the 2024 Optimized Preliminary Economic Assessment ("2024 PEA") of its Cañariaco Project in Northern Peru.
Located 102 km from Chiclayo, Cañariaco is a significant porphyry copper project. The 2024 PEA was developed by Ausenco Engineering Canada ULC, AGP Mining Consultants Inc., and Whittle Consulting Pty. Ltd., leading firms in engineering and mining consultancy.
Joanne Freeze, President and CEO, noted satisfaction with the project's economic results and improvements in ESG aspects since 2011. Freeze highlighted the aim to minimize environmental impacts while maximizing value. The project targets annual copper production of 158,000 tonnes over the first decade.
