Amadeus Fire AG Adjusts EBITA Guidance for 2024
On October 18, 2024, Amadeus Fire AG announced adjustments to their 2024 EBITA guidance. Despite aiming for profitable growth, the company has faced challenges due to economic pessimism in Germany. This has resulted in hesitancy with order placements, affecting results.
The personnel services segment has seen mixed results. Growth in interim and project management was insufficient to counteract declines in temporary staffing and permanent placement revenues. The commercial and IT sectors have been particularly impacted, with companies and candidates behaving cautiously.
The training segment, however, showed positive revenue and profit trends, balancing overall group performance. Operating EBITA reached €46.4 million in nine months, a 14.8% drop year-over-year, prompting a revision of the annual EBITA forecast to around €58 million.
