AMAG Reports Solid H1 2025 Results Despite Challenging Environment

AMAG Austria Metall AG's first half of 2025 results show resilience amid a challenging economic environment. Revenues increased by 11.1% to EUR 786.2 million, driven by higher aluminium prices and increased shipment volumes compared to the previous year. However, EBITDA fell to EUR 80.6 million, impacted by US tariffs and higher costs.

Net income declined by 29.9% to EUR 23.4 million. Operating cash flow remained stable at EUR 76.2 million. The outlook for 2025 expects EBITDA to range between EUR 110 million and EUR 130 million due to ongoing uncertainties regarding tariffs and economic conditions.

US tariffs increased in Q2, affecting the Metal Division, while the Casting Division faced price pressures. The Rolling Division experienced declining prices in key markets. AMAG's focus remains on maintaining stable operations amid global trade policy changes.
