AMAG Technology, an Allied Universal Company, declared on April 8, 2024, its plan to incorporate company badges into Google Wallet for Android users. This integration aims to streamline access and identity management for office spaces and workspaces. Google Wallet's secure platform allows for a convenient, card-free solution by enabling AMAG Technology's Symmetry Blue readers to interact with the digital badges stored on the user’s device.

The company emphasizes the convenience of this technology, pointing out that even when a phone's battery is depleted, the digital badge will remain functional in Google Wallet. This initiative, according to AMAG Technology Vice President of Product Management Roland Fournier, reaffirms the company's commitment to providing Android users with an efficient and secure method of managing their workspace access and identity.

Company badges on Google Wallet are part of the broader Symmetry Wallet platform and Symmetry Access Control system developed by AMAG Technology. The process involves users receiving an email through Symmetry Wallet to securely add their company badge to Google Wallet without the need for downloading additional apps, facilitated by AMAG's distinctive provisioning technology. Security administrators are enabled to distribute and revoke digital badges swiftly, ensuring enhanced security and organizational efficiency.
