Amarc Announces Drill Results from Aurora Copper-Gold Systems
Amarc Resources Ltd. has unveiled additional assay results from the Aurora deposit discovery at its JOY District project in British Columbia. Highlights include 132.00 meters of 1.71% copper equivalent (CuEQ) and 204.00 meters of 0.72% CuEQ. These results are part of Amarc's systematic drilling efforts aimed at outlining a significant Cu-Au-Ag deposit.
The Aurora deposit has shown impressive vertical and lateral continuity, with drill holes indicating high-grade mineralization that remains open for expansion. Amarc's President and CEO, Dr. Diane Nicolson, noted the encouraging results relative to past mining activities at the neighboring Kemess South deposit.
Beyond Aurora, Amarc continues to explore the Twins Target, marking the company's third copper-gold porphyry discovery within the JOY District. Plans in collaboration with Freeport-McMoRan aim to further the exploration potential across the district.
