Amarc Resources Reveals Promising Drill Results at Joy District
On September 22, 2025, Amarc Resources Ltd. announced partial rush assay results from drill hole JP25098, located southeast of the 2024 AuRORA Copper-Gold-Silver discovery at the Joy District. The intersection indicates significant mineralization with 159 meters grading 0.33% Cu, 0.43 g/t Au, and 5.2 g/t Ag, highlighting the potential for extensive exploration beyond known targets. These findings suggest broader exploration opportunities throughout the district, particularly given the occurrence of mineralization outside the strong magnetic high previously associated with the AuRORA deposit.
Drilling at Joy, initiated on June 26, focuses on expanding the AuRORA Deposit. A total of 19 drill holes, covering over 7,000 meters, have been completed so far in 2025. The ongoing work aims at evaluating new deposit potential, with a fourth drill rig mobilized to further assess the district. The exploration program, with a budget over CAD $15 million, is fully funded by Freeport-McMoRan, reinforcing the project's large-scale mineral development potential.
