Amarc Resources Reports Promising 2024 Drilling Results at IKE District
Amarc Resources Ltd. unveiled results from its 2024 exploration program at the IKE District in British Columbia. The company highlighted significant assays from the Empress Deposit, including 181 meters at 0.46% CuEQ and a notable 60 meters at 0.90% CuEQ. Resampling of historical cores reflected 99 meters at 0.61% CuEQ. These findings indicate a promising expansion potential, especially with high-grade porphyry-style mineralization.
Focused on the Empress Deposit, the program involved re-examining 27 drill holes and resampling historical core. The results showed a strong correlation with previous data, supporting the potential for further exploration. Management views the IKE District as a premier mineral area due to its rich alteration and metal signatures.
Amarc intends to integrate the 2024 data with past surveys to advance drilling programs. This supports their strategy to assess the Empress area's copper-gold potential further. Meanwhile, Amarc is also advancing projects in other BC regions, including a notable discovery at the JOY District.
