Amaroq Minerals Ltd. Announces Advances in South Greenland Copper Exploration

Amaroq Minerals Ltd. has confirmed the discovery of a porphyry/intrusion-related copper and molybdenum body at Target West. This discovery bolsters the mineral potential of the South Greenland Copper Belt. As part of their ongoing exploration efforts, they have identified 24 new copper targets in preparation for the 2024 field season.

James Gilbertson, VP Exploration at Amaroq, emphasized that the positive results from the 2023 drilling program, combined with recent geophysical data, have solidified the identification of South Greenland's first copper porphyry system. The company plans to apply these findings to further their exploration in the region through their Gardaq Joint venture.

The South Greenland Copper Belt extends approximately 150km and features numerous historical small-scale operations. The new findings suggest greater preservation potential in the eastern part of the belt, particularly within the Johan Dahl Land area.

Amaroq's 2024 exploration program will focus on leveraging the data collected from the Kobberminebugt geophysics and other recent studies. The operational readiness of the company ensures the availability of logistical and consumable resources for any necessary follow-up assessments later this year.
