American Potash Appoints Simon Clarke as CEO and President

American Potash Corp. has announced the immediate appointment of Simon Clarke as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director. Current Interim CEO Dean Besserer will transition to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Kent Ausburn and Ken Holmes have resigned from the Board of Directors.

Simon Clarke brings nearly 30 years of experience in building companies and implementing growth strategies in the mining and energy sectors. Clarke previously served as CEO of American Lithium Corp., where he contributed to the company’s significant growth and strong market position.

Clarke's appointment comes as American Potash aims to develop its Green River Potash and Lithium Project in Utah's Paradox Basin. The company plans to begin confirmatory drilling soon to capitalize on the potential high-grade potash and significant lithium resources in the area.

The Green River project is strategically important, given its proximity to large potash and lithium deposits and existing infrastructure. The move is expected to enhance American Potash's role in domestic potash and lithium production amid growing concerns over food and energy security.
