ANDRITZ Experiences Strong Order Growth in First Half of 2025

International technology group ANDRITZ reported a significant increase in order intake during the first half of 2025, achieving a 22.9% rise compared to the same period in 2024. Key drivers of this growth were the Hydropower and Metals sectors, with notable projects in Asia and China. Despite this increase in orders, revenue fell by 8.4%, largely due to previous year's order trends and a stronger Euro.

The Hydropower sector saw a substantial order intake increase of 72.1%, primarily from large projects in India. In the Metals sector, a 30.2% increase was attributed to gains in the USA and China. However, revenue declined in Pulp & Paper and Metals. Notwithstanding these challenges, ANDRITZ executed strategic acquisitions to reinforce its product offerings.

CEO Joachim Schönbeck expressed satisfaction with the company's developments, maintaining confidence in its diversified business model, despite geopolitical uncertainties.
