Anthony Anderson & Drew Carey to Host 2024 National Memorial Day Parade
The American Veterans Center (AVC) has announced that Anthony Anderson and Marine Corps veteran Drew Carey will host the 2024 National Memorial Day Parade. The parade will take place in Washington, DC, on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 2 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast to over 100 million households.
Esteemed actors Bryan Cranston, Joe Mantegna, and Gary Sinise will join the event, along with D-Day survivor Marvin Gilmore and nearly two dozen heroic veterans. Performances by Brian Kelley, The War & Treaty, and the U.S. Navy Band will highlight the musical segment of the parade.
The event commemorates the 80th anniversary of D-Day and honors service members from World War II to contemporary conflicts. "It is a privilege to co-host this great American tradition," stated Drew Carey. AVC President Tim Holbert emphasized the importance of recognizing the sacrifices of these veterans.
