Aperam Q2 2025 Results: Performance Amid Challenges
Aperam S.A. reported its Q2 2025 results, showcasing resilience in a tough market. The company improved its LTI frequency rate to 0.8x, a marked improvement from 1.7x in Q1. Shipments grew by 3% to 591 thousand tonnes, contributing to an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 112 million, up from EUR 86 million in the previous quarter. Net income rose to EUR 19 million and earnings per share increased to EUR 0.25.
Despite pricing pressures, Aperam achieved free cash flow of EUR 157 million, reversing a significant outflow in Q1. Net financial debt decreased to EUR 1,143 million, signaling better financial health. The Leadership Journey® Phase 5 contributed EUR 20 million in gains, supporting the company's strategic goals.
Looking forward, Aperam anticipates a lower EBITDA in Q3, with a slight reduction in net financial debt. CEO Timoteo Di Maulo remains optimistic, pointing to strong contributions from Brazil and alloys as stabilizing factors in a challenging landscape.
