APWG 2024 eCrime Conference: A Proactive Approach to Combat Cybercrime

The Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) will host its 2024 eCrime Conference in Boston, focusing on combating the escalation of cybercrime that has significantly impacted the internet's infrastructure over the past two decades. Themed "Taking Back Cyberspace from the Cybercrime Plexus," this year's event, set for September 24-26, aims to address the complex layers contributing to global cyber threats.

Chaired by Laurin Weissinger from Yale University, with Ebrima Ceesay from Mastercard and Miranda Bruce from the University of Oxford, the conference will explore various dimensions such as economic foundations, behavioral elements, and technological exposures of cybercrime. This peer-reviewed symposium brings together academic researchers and law enforcement professionals to foster international collaboration and share cutting-edge solutions against cybercrime.
