Arbonia AG Expands Its European Market Presence with Strategic Acquisitions

Arbonia AG, a prominent European company specializing in interior and special doors, has announced its acquisition of two key businesses, enhancing its market influence across Europe. The company successfully purchased Dimoldura, a major player in interior doors in Spain and other regions of south-western Europe, and Lignis, a specialist in special doors from the Czech Republic.

With these acquisitions, Arbonia extends its market footprint in both south-western and Eastern Europe, strengthening its strategy for European market leadership. Dimoldura, which reported a revenue of approximately EUR 120 million in 2023, dominates the wooden interior door sector in Spain and maintains a significant presence in Portugal and France. Lignis, on the other hand, generated EUR 14 million in revenue in 2023 and is known for its comprehensive range of functional doors.

The integration of Dimoldura and Lignis is expected to deliver extensive synergies, enhance the product offerings, and boost the efficiency of operations within Arbonia’s Doors Division. The acquisitions align with Arbonia's vision of evolving into a pan-European leader and reflect a strategic push to diversify its service regions and product portfolio, according to Claudius Moor, CEO of the Doors Division.
