Arras Minerals Commences Ground IP Survey at Elemes Project, Kazakhstan
Arras Minerals Corp. has begun an Induced Polarization (IP) survey on its Elemes project in northeastern Kazakhstan. The survey covers 125 km of lines, targeting the Berezski copper anomaly. This area shows significant similarities to the Bozshakol copper-gold mine, located approximately 60 km away.
The focus is on the Berezski and Novi anomalies, which display notable copper, molybdenum, and arsenic characteristics. The IP survey will help define high-priority drill targets, supported by recent financing of C$5.2 million. CEO Tim Barry stated that the funds will aid in advancing exploration programs for copper-gold projects.
The Elemes project benefits from modern infrastructure, including proximity to highways, power lines, and heavy rail, making it accessible and logistically feasible for operations. Arras's effort aims to optimize future drilling plans, enhancing the discovery potential in the Bozshakol-Chingiz metallogenic belt.
