Art Exhibition Featuring China’s Jiangsu Province Unveiled at UN New York Headquarters
An art exhibition titled "Dialogue Between Jiangsu and the World, Sharing a Better Life" was launched on June 24 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, this event will run for two weeks, inviting global audiences to experience Jiangsu's culture through captivating photographs.
Jiangsu Province, located in Eastern China, is known for its economic leadership, rich cultural heritage, and stunning natural beauty. Fred Teng, President of the America China Public Affairs Institute, highlighted the exhibition as a pivotal initiative for fostering Sino-American cultural exchanges.
Elizabeth Chin, Executive Director of the New York chapter of the Pacific Asia Travel Association, encouraged Americans to explore Jiangsu's unique cultural sites, including Suzhou Gardens and the Nanjing City Wall. Over 20 works from both Chinese and international photographers are featured, showcasing Jiangsu's scenery and cultural charm.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of the sister-state relationship between Jiangsu Province and New York State. Since then, extensive collaborations in trade, education, and culture have taken place. The exhibition will run until July 5, offering special presentations on Jiangsu's culture and tourism.
