Asia Green Biotechnology Corp. Announces Auditor Change and Ends Operations in Asia

Asia Green Biotechnology Corp., also known as AGB, disclosed a change in its auditor and the discontinuation of its operation in Asia on April 12, 2024. The Calgary-based company switched its auditor from Paul J. Rozek Professional Corporation to MNP LLP on April 5, 2024. This decision followed the former auditor's resignation at AGB's request, with MNP LLP taking over until the next annual shareholders' meeting.

AGB confirmed that there were no disagreements or "reportable events" with the former auditor, ensuring a smooth transition. The necessary documentation for this change will be submitted to SEDAR as required by National Instrument 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations.

The company also announced the cessation of its activities in Asia, specifically in Cambodia and Thailand. This strategic move aligns with AGB's decision to focus on its acquisition agreements with Burton Growers Ltd. and Green-Sight Agri-Holdings Ltd., as previously announced. Further details on this transaction will be provided following the execution of a definitive purchase agreement.
