Asian Financial Forum 2025 Concludes Successfully

The 18th Asian Financial Forum (AFF) wrapped up on January 14, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event, spanning two days, attracted over 3,600 attendees, including 130 high-level speakers. More than 700 AFF Deal-making meetings connected fund sources with global investment projects.

Co-organized by the HKSAR Government and the HKTDC under the theme "Powering the Next Growth Engine," the AFF capitalized on Hong Kong's status as an international financial hub to enhance global communication and cooperation. Chief Executive John Lee engaged with global officials, highlighting Hong Kong's role in the AIIB and its capacity to bridge Eastern and Western financial cultures.

A notable session included experts like Sue Lloyd discussing sustainability standards in finance. The first-ever Gulf Cooperation Council Chapter aimed to bolster financial ties between Hong Kong and GCC countries. The event also featured industry-specific sessions on fintech, capital markets, and entrepreneurship. AFF 2025 facilitated investments across various sectors, supported by on-site exhibition zones enhancing networking opportunities.
