Aston Bay Announces 2024 Exploration Program at Epworth Project
Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. has announced its plans for a summer 2024 exploration program at the Epworth sediment-hosted project in Nunavut, Canada. The company will utilize over $2 million in flow-through funds for airborne geophysics, geological mapping, and sampling to identify drill targets.
Key activities include a 5,000 line-km airborne electromagnetic and magnetic survey to locate exploration targets and understand regional structures. Dr. Elizabeth Turner will oversee geological and structural mapping, prospecting, and rock and lake sediment sampling to support geophysical findings.
The company has already secured permits for drilling and plans community meetings in Kugluktuk. CEO Thomas Ullrich expressed optimism about the potential for high-grade copper, silver, zinc, and cobalt discoveries, citing previous promising surface sample results.
