Aston Bay Discovers Significant Conductors at Epworth Project
Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. has announced the identification of large stratigraphic conductors at its Epworth Project in Nunavut, Canada. The findings stem from a MobileMT geophysical survey, revealing shallow conductors likely indicative of reductive stratigraphy conducive to sediment-hosted copper mineralization.
Recent sampling verified high-grade occurrences, such as the Payback Showing with up to 61.2% copper and 5,600 g/t silver. Several new copper, zinc, and lead occurrences were discovered during 2024. These findings suggest potential for large-scale stratiform mineralization akin to deposits found in Central Africa.
The company has expanded its claim by 11,608 hectares, totaling 102,108 hectares. Anticipated drilling targets are being refined with ongoing data integration and analysis, marking a significant step in Aston Bay's exploration efforts at the Epworth Project.
